About Race Club

Home of the “Real Corfield Cup”

The Corfield Race Club is situated in the small town of Corfield, right in the heart of Queensland. It can be found on the Winton to Hughenden Highway (bitumen) with only a few kms of dirt into the track.

Held annually on the first weekend of August, the event attracts crowds of around 500 or more racegoers.

Not only just a race day, Corfield Races features a Nearest the Pin golf competition with huge cash prizes, a Fashions of the Field, and kids entertainment throughout the day. Night time brings an auction and (of course) music and dancing.

Friday night normally sees a "Meet & Greet" and Calcutta down at the race track, and Sunday is the ever popular "Recovery" held at the local Corfield Pub.

The racecourse has free camping sites for it's patrons, as well as hot showers. A licensed bar operates at the races on Saturday and the event is fully catered.
